Will this replace the 87jvap-mp?

My part number shows 87jvap-mp but I cannot find that exact one. From what I read this would be the replacement. I want to make sure before ordering.

I found out the 87jvap-mp is a longitude awning and per Carefree, TAJVAPHSR awning arm is for the compass and has a length of 54". They no longer make the 56" for the Longitude.

Question: Is this the same as part number R001989blk
Answer: No, the R001989 is the back awning arm. They do look similar, but TAJVAPHSR is the front arm.

Question: is this just ond arm and can you use it to only replace one side of a latitude awning or do i have to replaceboth
Answer: Carefree no longer makes the awning arm for the latitude awning. The TAJVAPHSR is for the Compass awning only.
