Make sure you have the correct app. If you have the EPO unit you need the EPO app (Black dog's face with red eyes), if you have the base model unit (PWD30) then you need the app that has a red dog's face on a white background.

I've had trouble scanning the QR code with my tablet. The application for the EPO does say designed for phones. Not sure why tablets/other devices would be excluded
