I reached out to Heng's and they said it is best to use Mineral Spirits or a powder detergent to clean the surface before using the Nuflex 311 sealant.
On a fiberglass RV roof, what is best product to clean surface with prior to application? Heng's 95502-C Nuflex 311 Caulk Sealant - 10 oz
I need to recaulk a seam on the roof of my Itasca Sunova RV. I called Winnebago and asked their recommendation, they recommended Heng's #311 white joint sealant. So far, I have spent 30 min removing old caulk and 45 min trying to determine recommended surface cleaning/prep product. I think surface prep is a very important part of a successful job and am surprised I cannot find recommendations
