We would suggest resetting the JWM6A in the system menu before replacing the unit. The JWM62A would replace this unit, but you would lose the HDMI video output. The JWM62A does have a yellow video RCA output, so you could use this with a RCA to HDMI adapter, but it would not be 1080 resolution. Alternatively, you can use the JWM70A to keep the HDMI output, but JWM70A is half the height of the JWM6A.
