All Flow-Rite products can function in cold applications. There are a couple tricks though, 1) push the gray button on the male coupler to empty water from the lines to store system without water to prevent freezing in lines and male coupler. 2) store feed tube with male coupler on the top of the batteries to help it stay warm with the heat generated by the batteries.
