Battery life of the Camco 44124 Airator? (Camco 44124 Fridge Airator With On/Off Switch)

I reached out to Camco to see if they could tell me the battery life and they said it is hard to say, due to when batteries get cold the life of them are shortened, thus when the door is closed it would be hard to determine when they stop.
