We have this 7330F3852 thermostat unit and it cools the room to 4 degrees under the set point. Do we need a new one?
Coleman Mach 7330F3852 Analog Heat/Cool RV Air Conditioner Thermostat - 12V - Black
The range around the set point on this thermostat seems too large. I won't kick the AC on until 2 or 3 degrees over and won't kick it off until 4 degrees under. Is there anything to replace it with tighter control of temperature?

With the thermostat reading off a few degrees, we might verify that we have no air blowing on the tstat, or coming in from the wall behind it. If we can rule that out, then the digital 8330-3482 would be a good replacement option. But only if there is not air manipulating the tstat, otherwise it would react the same.
