Unfortunately Hopkins does not make a plug n play option for the 2008 new style Silverado's. Is this a 1500, 2500 or 3500 and is it a Heavy Duty model? If it is a 1500 and not Heavy Duty, Demco has model # (9523132), linked below. If not then there is not one for your model and you will need to use a bulb and socket, diode or universal like the 55999, but the 55999 will include splicing of wires. I have linked all of these options below.
