The 8029VS is used when you have rubber valve stems and wish to use an extender. They help keep the extender from putting to much strain on the stem. Technically you could use them with a 4” extender that has a tpms on it regardless of which valve stem you have. But it isn’t really required if you have a metal valve stem.
