The ideal situation would be the plug in surge protector, this way the Glendinning plug and cord stay original the surge protector would plug into the pedestal and then their cord into the surge protector. A setup like this keeps it mobile and the coach protected on the electrical side. This however would not prevent a surge from coming through the cable line or Ethernet.
