Is that normal? My real question is on the bolt and nut on the rv HITCH ITSELF. tHERE IS A 1' nut at the rt end of the bolt. This has to be taken off correct? The tongue of the rack is very tight in the hitch. How am I supposed to get a 1" wrench around the nut with leverage enuff to undo? This was put on by my dealer and I am single woman trying to see if i can life the thing by myself. Please reply good news.

The one that holds the rack to the receiver is a threaded pin. You should be able to pull the hitch pin off the opposite side and unscrew the threaded pin by hand as it should not be torqued down. If it seems as though it is stuck, maybe tapping it would break it loose a little, but you do not want to hammer it out as it is threaded and can mess up the threading.
