I reached out to my contact at Irvine for the thickness of the pleated folding door and they said it is a 6oz material and it is not sound proof, you can still hear things.

Answer: The 24" would not fit the 26" wide door way. These Irvine folding doors can be cut to size, so you can go with the 30" width below and cut it to the 26" you need.
