All of the Power Watchdog units are similar. You would remove all the screws on the back (I think about 8 screws) and also loosen those two cable grommets at either side. Then you can remove the back part of the unit. From there, you can easily see the surge module, there are a couple wires/clips that you need to remove, then plug in the new one. Screw the caps back on and put the screws back in, you are done. The manufacturer is in the works with making a youtube video to show this but there is not currently a video walk through.
