No the faults can not be deleted. I believe the 40300 holds 16 faults. When there is a new fault, it becomes Fault 1 and all the others move down one.

I reached out to my contact at Southwire, the company that bought out SurgeGuard. He said no, the old codes can not be removed and are saved in memory. He says he believes it holds 16 fault codes. The codes are saved in the main unit so and the display just shows what it is told from the main unit. So a new display will announce the same faults as the existing display.
