The Aluminum RV Water Heater Anode Rod is for steel water heaters whereas the Magnesium RV Water Heater Anode Rod is for aluminum water heaters.

Question: Why does this Aluminum Anode Rod say this is 3/4 thread when it measures 1 inch across. Tap that fits tank is also 1” NPT
Answer: I reached out to my contact at Suburban and they said that the threads on the 232768 are 3/4" NPT. I will put a dimensional drawing below that shows this information.
