No, this High Pointe EM925ACW-B is not an over the range unit. You can have this as a stand alone on the counter or you can use the trim kit when installing into a cabinet. I will put a link below to our "over the range" units. In order to know if it will fit as a replacement, you will need to go based on the cutout dimensions. They should be listed in the description on every microwave. If you find one that does not have dimensions, let me know and I will do my best to get that information.
