This 28218B is becoming obsolete. The replacement would be the BAL 28240 Retract-A-Spare. As long as you have the space for it, you should have no issue installing two of them.
Can I put two of these next to each other, but on opposite sides of the trailer for two spares, and save space? BAL 28218B Hide A Spare 68'' - 75'' I-Beam Frame Underslung Mount Storage Bay Slides
I carry two spares at all times, but I don't have much space behind the axles (21ft trailer w/ gas tank). SO I'd like to mount these close to each other, but on opposite sides of the trailer. I'm hoping the tires site off-center so the carriers could be mounted close together and not bump each other.
