Is it possible to lock hitch to front position?
PullRite 2315 OE Series SuperGlide For Dodge Ram Trucks
Fifth Wheel Hitches
See you had an emergency and had to pull someone else's camper or you bought a new camper. Now those campers don't have the capture plate on. Can you use this hitch to tow them knowing you have to be careful and can't turn short.

Unfortunately at this time they don’t offer a way to lock the hitch rotation out. The only way to use the SuperGlide is as an auto sliding hitch with the capture plate. When the hitch is used without a capture plate there are two points of rotation, and because the 5th wheel is heavier than hitch will just slide to the back of the truck when taking off. When stopping the weight will shift and come slamming toward the cab of the truck. As a result PullRite does not recommend using the hitch without a capture plate, and currently they offer no way to lock the hitch into a stationary hitch.
