Surge protector. HW30C
Can you elaborate more on the surge protection end of this unit.
The statement "Surge Indicator: If ever a power surge damages the surge protector circuit within the EMS L-N, or L-G The digital display error code will read E-10. This is your indication that it needs to be replaced."
What needs to be replaced the complete HW30C unit itself or just a part inside the unit?
I have also read on another site "The manufacturing quality of the item received was less than it should be. Only prevents one surge." what does this really mean, 1 in a lifetime, or 1 at a time?

If the HW30c takes a Surge and renders a E10 and the MOV board is Damaged in any way the unit would then need to be replaced which is not covered under the life time warranty. It is always best to contact Progressive Tech support when the unit shows an E10. The MOV board is not a board that can be purchased or be replaced on its own.
