If much of the hose stays coiled isn't it hard to drain water out? I don't like storing hoses with water still in.

Some customers have found that you will need to drain the water out of the hose before storage.

The carrier actually makes the hose easier to drain. Now it's a one-person job, whereas before it took two of us. I coil all the hose in the carrier first, then tote it over to a picnic table, drop the bottom tail of the hose a foot or two, open the stopcock, and all the water siphons clean out. We always connect the two ends together before storage, to cut down on drips and keep insects out.
