This filter goes into a housing. This is an all purpose filter, meaning that it can work wherever it will fit. Choosing a filter is more or less based on what you want to filter out of your water and then making sure that it fits into the housing. I am having my website team update the information on a couple of the filters. I apologize for the confusion.
