If you are using this on a non ducted set up, it will not work. The WackO products DA100 and CA200 are to be used with ducted set ups to reduce the noise by 8-10 decibels. The DA100 is for Dometic A/C units whereas the CA200 is for Coleman A/C units. Blocking the cold air duct(square hole) and just using the duct work in the RV help the product work more efficiently in reducing the noise. You can use the foil tape provided to block this off. You will want to make sure that you put a piece of tape over the other small holes, leaving only the main air flow open. Below is a video that walks you through this and explains it along the way.
