Question: Can this be mounted within 3' of an RV roof top ac unit? Will the signal be affected by it physically or electrical
Answer: The A/C unit being that close can affect the signal. You will need a minimum of 24" for clearance so the KF1000 does not hit anything.
Question: Do you need a router to place in the RV with this product?
Answer: Yes, the KF1000 requires a router inside your RV. A WifiMax router is included with the purchase of a KF1000.
