The manufacturer does not have a specific recommended installation method as they do not know what is below the floor. Some customers use bolts and nuts and others use self-tapping screws. I attached our installation instructions for your reference.

I would recommend ordering the CTG54-001 kit to give the cargo tray extra clearance to get over the 3” lip on the compartment. This item is a special order part, non-returnable.
