This thermostat has a problem with defaulting to 72 degrees during furnace operation, do you know if has been fixed

My current thermostat defaults to 72 degrees several times while using the furnace. Do you know if this has been fixed. I have seen several others with the same problem.

The thermostat uses 72 as a reset set point when the thermostat drops voltage, most likely due to a weak ground.
