Please check the following voltages readings going in to the 34850 with a multimeter:
L1 to Ground 120 V
L1 to Neutral 120 V
L2 to Ground 120 V
L2 to Neutral 120 V
Neutral to Ground 0 V
L1 to L2 240 V
If your readings do not comply to the above suggested values, your voltage source is not good. Device will not engage with bad voltage. Sometimes unit will engage but once current starts to flow, unit will detect a fault and disengage.
If your voltage reading do comply, then the unit maybe faulty.
