The VMSPC6 allows you to read performance and diagnostic information with the special software right on your laptop computer. You receive complete diagnostics, trip information, and a graphing system that can display up to five parameters at the same time. Engine data can be saved to a file and loaded into a spreadsheet. It also let's you program audible alarms based on any engine parameter. For example, you can set it to play any WAV file (grab a microphone and record your own!) when your road speed reaches a certain point. Have it played once, once a minute, or continuously. And you can create a "Tank Minder", which provides a miles-to-empty calculation based on your tank size and fuel economy. VMSpc lets you enter correction factors to compensate for a poorly calibrated engine. You can even program gauges to read in metric, if you desire. The "standard" Diagnostic Plugs are a Round Deutsch plug with 6 or 9 Pin Postions. Typically, the 6 Pin Plugs have 4 Terminals, the 9 Pin Plugs have 4 Terminals and with later coaches they have 7 Terminals. I will post a picture below of what the 6 and 9 pin plugs look like. This unit is for if you have a 6 pin connection. There is the VMSPC9 for the 9 pin, which I will link below.
