Sorry about the confusion. It wasn't explained properly on our site. So your going to cut the frayed pieces hanging off the awning, not the entire fabric piece and the awning guard just sticks to it.
So when the description says, "Simply cut off the un-laminated part of your sun damaged awning" it's wrong? Leisure Time 60099 StickNBond Awning Guard - White Carefree Awning Accessories
