Below is a better picture of the bottom of the Thetford 42036 toilet seat.
Can one believe the picture and assume the underside of the seat is solid? (minus the plastic compartments ?) Thetford 42036 Aqua-Magic Style II Seat And Cover Assembly - White RV Toilet Repair Parts
I'd like a solid seat underneath. Please advise
