We typically look at the Trailer when determining if the TS can be used Trailer Requirements are as Follows: -Trailer Frame Height of 4”,5”,6”,7” or 8” – If the trailer has a 3” Frame or has a ½” increment, the TS cannot be used -Coupler Ball Size of 2” or 2-5/16” – smaller 32215 TS system come with a 2” ball installed -Clearance for the Lift Bracket installation at 28 ½” to 30 ½” – Some trailers have Propane Tanks in this area -Loaded Tongue Weight determines what size hitch is needed – The 33039 is our largest available TS, and should be used with a trailer that has a minimum of 1,000 lbs. loaded tongue weight.
One other note – The TS hitch comes with a standard 2” shank. Some vehicles have a 2 ½” Receiver Hitch – A reducer can be used, or a different shank can be purchased
