The Carefree SR0112 LED Awning lights can be used on power, auto retract awnings. However, it is recommended to put them on the wall under the awning rail, not on the roller itself.

Can I Install this and use it on my automatic awning that is set to auto retraction high winds?

Question: When you have a 16 ft and need to be at 14 ft where on the light strip do you cut it, is there a certain spot?
Answer: Below is a link to the installation manual page 4 shows how to install the strip. When you cut the strip to the length you need, you will want to cut through the copper pads to adjust length.
