Can you use this product with a weight distribution hitch?

Unfortunately, right now the Weigh Safe WSUN-1 does not work with a weight distribution hitch. As soon as you hook up the bars, it increases the force between the coupler and the ball and will result in over pressuring the gauge. One option you can try is, put the universal hitch onto a standard fixed height platform that is 3/4" thick. Put that hitch on your truck and measure the weight of your trailer tongue to make sure you're loaded correctly, then unhitch the trailer and swap out the universal hitch with your WD hitch.
