Do I need to use a water filter along with the FlowPur water softener?

RV Water Softener
We are in Yuma, AZ, and water quality is only so-so. Should I use a filter in addition to the softener? if so, would I use it prior to the water entering the softener or after?

You do not have to use a water filter with the FlowPur RV Pro 10,000 water softener but you can put a water filter system before the FlowPur water softener. It is good in the sense that it will filter the water as the water softener does not filter water, it only softens it.
