How do you get heat tape to work? Can you use a blow dryer or do you need special equipment? (Sealants Gaskets & Seals)

There is no special equipment needed to apply the HATS tape. You do not absolutely need to add "extra" heat to it with a blow dryer. However, it is recommended to apply the tape inside a garage or inside somewhere where it is warm. If you apply some pressure while placing the tape, this should be enough "heat" to activate the properties that make it stick.
