No, the 52-A-890-0010 is an Automatic Changeover Regulator and will not directly replace the Two Stage Regulator part number 424NRV. The 424NRV is an older model which has been replaced by Model 524AS and these are Two-Stage regulators. The part number that replaces the 424NRV is 52-A-490-0018 with a vertical vent, or 52-A-490-0020 with an horizontal vent.
