Unfortunately, the brass fitting has a special type of connection glue as a seal to connect it to the body cast. It sounds like that seal was broken, which would make this Cavagna 52-A-890-0010 useless.
how do I stop leakage between the grey/cast body and the brass fitting where the lines to the tanks connects? Cavagna 52-A-890-0010 RV Automatic Changeover LP Regulator – 160,000 BTU/hr LP Regulators
my new regulator leaks where the brass connect to the cast. tightening did not stop. took it apart and there is no thread compound or o-ring which seems wrong
