Does the Contoure RV 185B-con have a on/ off button for the turntable ?

There is no on/off button for the turntable. However, if you do not want your food to spin while using the convection setting, you can remove the glass turntable, support ring and couplet and just put the pan directly in the microwave. Also when the turntable spins it switches directions when the microwave is restarted(ie, start microwave, turntable spins clockwise, stop it to check on food and start it up again, the turntable now spins counter clockwise).
If you remove the little motor coupler that the glass tray sits on and keep the turntable support ring and glass tray in the microwave, the glass tray will not spin.
