The Lippert 157423 is two pieces that can be extended or retracted. They will need to be tac welded together into place to hold them when the desired size is achieved. There is really no documentation that says exactly what the max length is but it is not recommended to take it past 8-3/4', that will give you 5" of bar overlap. The inside bar is 72 inches and the outside bar is 38 inches long. Make sure that you have a good five inches at bare minimum overlapping to make sure that the slide will be able to turn properly. Any less and you are just asking for your welds to break and your slide to have issues.
