It is not necessary, although, if the water-pump cycles in short spurts it would be good to add the accumulator tank.
Is the accumulator tank needed for the turboKOOL to function if I run water to the cooler from my RV water? TurboKOOL 2B-1811R Accumulator Tank RV Air Conditioners
Not sure if I would need to buy the accumulator tank or not. No picture of it online.
