Yes, it is recommended that you use a 4 step. If your door width is 28", then STP-4-27-05H would work for you. If your flange to flange measurement is 28:, then the STP-4-30-03H or the STP-4-32-04H will work for you. Also, do not forget to get a hand rail, STP214-006H, if you do not already have one.
