I am assuming that it is leaking from the holes used to mount the hinge? If it has been leaking a long time you may want to check for rot. The 28128 sealant could be used but you will want to check it often as the seal tends to not last as long as some. If you want something with a better bond you may want to use Eternabond tape, linked below. Just have to make sure you use lots of pressure when forming the bond with the tape, like using a roller. Or if you want to use the vent kit this may work depending on how much you need.
