Yes, you can spin the dials when the 7850R-L is in the unlocked position. This is one of the only Combi-Cam locks for RV's that allow you to do this.
Can you spin the combination after unlocking and then turn the lock to the locked position? Combi-Cam 7850R-L Combination RV Compartment Lock - 1-1/8'' Chrome RV Door Hardware
In other words, will the combination be visible whenever the lock is unlocked?

Answer: Depends on the dimensions you need for your storage door, this Combi-Cam fits any 3/4” keyed cam lock. It has a cylinder length of 1-1/8" and fits up to 7/8" thick material. Below is a photo of the dimensions.

Answer: Unfortunately if you don't have the code you can not open the lock and the only way to change the Combi-Cam lock is to know your previous code.
