The overall length of the mounting bar is 70". The tow guard mounts right above the square receiver and the rubber part is 14" long and is recommended that it sits 3-5" off the ground.

I am mounting this to the motor home hitch and it may interfere with the ladder and the tow electrical connection, so prior to purchasing this item I would appreciate some important dimensions ie, top of hitch to top of mounting bar, and overall length of mounting bar.
