Answer: Installation of the K71-175-01 shock kit does involve skilled welding. Below is a link to the manual.

Question: What size hole is needed for the shock studs?
Answer: This comes with a bracket for upper shock and the lower is the tie plate. No need to drill a hole.
Manufacturer does warn not to cut or weld over the springs.
