I have a control board 8330B633. Replaced hard start capacitor and it began smoking. Bad control board?

Low or high voltage can cause the hard start capacitor to overheat. Low voltage is below 103V and high voltage would be higher than 126V. Low voltage can occur if you are plugged in to the same power source as many other people.
