Fan-Tastic Vent 1200 Create-A-Breeze Fan
Powered RV Vent Fans
I have a several year old Little Guy Silver Shadow teardrop trailer with a problem roof vent. fan. This fan is inscribed with Create A Breeze. It has three speeds, in/neutral/out settings, 4 amp fuse, open/close knob, and a smoked dome. I do not know where to find a model number so I hope my description is adequate for you to to identify it. The problem it has is that the fan just quit one night. and I was unable to make it run again. It did run for a little while the next day but quit again and has not functioned since. How do I go about fixing this fan? Can I get parts from you? Where do I find the model number? The fan blades are white but the fan support is clear. Does this problem sound familiar to you? Any help or suggestion you have would be most appreciated.
Thank you

Hello Larry. I could not identify the model number and was informed by Dometic that the model number does not really matter as the Create A Breeze fans mostly use the same parts. There should be a plunger switch on the top of your fan. This plunger/dome switch needs to be able to release properly for the fan to work. Sometimes that gets debris in it that keeps it from moving properly. Also, you will want to double check the 12V power supply to the fan and make sure that is good as well. If both of those seem to be working fine, you will need to replace the motor. We do not carry that motor, you would need to contact Dometic at 800-544-4881 to get that.
