No, this A10-2618VP includes an on/off switch to fully shut down the fan when RV is in storage. When it is in the on position the thermo switch in the fan shroud will activate when the refrigerator compartment reaches 100 degrees and the thermo switch will shut the fan off at approximately 80 degrees. The thermal switch will prevent the fan from running during cooler hours of the day. When the on/off switch in is the off position, the fan will not operate. If you are not using your RV, make sure that the switch is in the off position.
