My Automatic transfer switch ATS5070 is bad. Need advise on new one?

will the "basic" Surge Guard Auto Transfer switch work well with the Surge Guard 35550 hardwire surge protector? My Automatic transfer switch ATS5070 is bad but I already have a good surge protector. I want to upgrade my transfer switch that will work to transfer between shore/generator/inverter Please tell me what my options are?

Yes the 40100 automatic transfer switch could be used with the 35550 surge protector. Another option you could go with is the LPT50BRD automatic transfer switch which is relay based instead of using mechanical contactors like in the 40100. The relay based model tends to be quieter.
