How does the spark ignition differ from the piezo ignition?

Normally, spark ignition is an automatic electric ignition whereas the piezo ignition is a manual, meaning that you have to push a button to turn it on before you can adjust the knobs. In this case, this is a spark because you turn the knob to turn it on and then adjust your burner/s from there.
