You do not need to open the packet, it will dissolve on its own. You just drop the packet into your holding tank, that is as close to full as you can get it, and let it work its magic.
If used in gray tanks do I need to open the pack to get down the drain or will it dissolve by running water over it Walex CMDOBG Commando Black Holding Tank Cleaner Holding Tank Chemicals
